EDITING WORKSHOP WITH ANUSH BABAJANYAN

I was selected as a panelist for the editing workshop with Anush Babajanyan, along with photographers from Iran, India and Madagascar. During the two and a half hour online session, Anush provided detailed feedback on the work of four photographers, members of the VII Alumni community. Armenian photographer Anush Babajanyan is a VII Photo contributing photographer and a National Geographic Explorer.

VII COMMUNITY PORTFOLIO REVIEWS 2024

Along with 25 other photographers, I participated in the first edition of the VII Community Portfolio Reviews, which took place on the 4th and 8th of October this year. These online reviews provided a unique opportunity for photographers to network with editors, curators, publishers, photographers, festival organisers and other industry professionals.

LECTURE AT THE FACULTY OF PHILOSOPHY IN BELGRADE

As a guest of Marko Pišev, Associate Professor at the department of Ethnology and Anthropology at the the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, I delivered a lecture on the photo projects that I conducted on multiple visits to Eurasian countries within the course Ethnology of the Old World.

FOUNDRY PHOTOJOURNALISM WORKSHOP 2023

I was selected to take part in this year’s edition of the Foundry Photojournalism Workshop, an international event that hosted students from 40 countries all over the world, and was taught in 9 languages. The instructors, some of the world’s most influential photographers and visual journalists, held a series of four classes in November. Main event was a three-day online workshop, which took place from 8 to 10 December.

Award in the category Life reportage for the photo reportage Bear Dance at Press Photo Serbia 2023 annual photo contest. The exhibition of awarded photos took place in Parobrod cultural center in Belgrade in December 2023.
